The Double Barrel V4 is a pedal for players looking for a versatile, transparent overdrive with light to medium gain. While it doesn't offer high-gain sounds, the two overdrives, each with their own unique character and stacking capabilities, can meet a wide range of tonal needs.
On the right side of the new Double Barrel V4 is the Moonshine V2, an overdrive pedal with many modifications to the most famous green-cased overdrive. The Moonshine V2 not only delivers a classic mid-heavy tone, but also offers more gain, volume, and tonal range than you'd expect. The Moonshine V2 has the same basic sound as version 1, but now features a new Clean knob, allowing you to add a clean signal to the overdrive signal.
The left side of the Double Barrel features JHS Pedals' best-selling Morning Glory V4 overdrive. It delivers a transparent, open tone and features a new hi-gain switch that can be controlled with the Red Remote. Connecting a JHS Pedals Red Remote to the Remote Gain jack with a standard patch cable lets you control the gain switch with your foot.
The magic happens when you use both overdrives at the same time, allowing you to easily create unique and fresh tones, and the order switching switch allows you to choose the order in which the right and left circuits are arranged.
