We offer a vast selection of new, used and vintage instruments, from electric and acoustic guitars to basses, ukuleles, drums, synthesizers, digital pianos, wind instruments and accordions.

You’ll also find DJ and recording gear, audio equipment, music software, sheet music and books—everything a musician needs.

Our used instrument specialty store “Ikebe Reuse” carries pre‑owned guitars, basses, acoustic instruments and effects pedals, including Japan‑exclusive models and rare finds.

With about 30 stores spread across Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Akihabara and Osaka, you can explore specialty shops focused on guitars, basses, drums and more.

The IKESHIBU flagship in Shibuya brings multiple specialty stores under one roof and hosts live concerts and other events on its first floor.

All stores offer tax‑free shopping and our staff can communicate using translation devices, so feel free to visit when you’re in Japan.

Packaging: Although we don’t ship overseas from the store, we can provide sturdy packing with handles so you can carry your purchase home. Packing usually takes about 15 minutes. We cushion instruments carefully and adjust the packaging to suit each item.

Show your passport and spend at least ¥5,000 (excluding tax) to qualify for tax‑free shopping.

To get tax‑free status, let our staff know which items you want to process, then present your passport. We’ll handle the paperwork and pack your purchase on the spot.

Online orders & shipping

Our online store is stocked with new, second‑hand and vintage gear, including Ikebe limited‑edition instruments, Japan‑only models, discontinued items and one‑of‑a‑kind pieces. Every used item is inspected, cleaned and serviced by our expert staff.

Online purchases are not eligible for tax exemption, and some products cannot be shipped overseas due to supplier agreements.
