The Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi 2 is the ultimate bass fuzz pedal, based on the now-lost Dual Op-Amp Big Muff 2 circuit, adding flexible sound shaping capabilities and professional-grade features. It retains the Big Muff's signature midrange presence and overwhelming sustain, while offering unprecedented freedom in sound creation.

The BLEND control allows you to freely mix the original signal with the fuzz sound, creating a powerful fuzz sound while maintaining a solid low-end core. Furthermore, it features a noise gate to suppress unwanted noise and achieve a tight sound. The most distinctive feature of this unit is the CROSSOVER section, which splits the signal into a fuzz side and a clean side. A high-pass filter (HPF) is applied to the fuzz side, and a low-pass filter (LPF) is applied to the clean side, allowing for individual control of each frequency band. This creates an ideal bass fuzz sound that balances clear high-frequency fuzz with a heavy, clean low end.

Furthermore, it features an expanded I/O section with a DI OUTPUT (XLR) and DIRECT OUT, making it suitable for a wide range of environments, from stage to recording. The DIRECT OUT allows you to send the buffered output of the original sound directly to a mixer or recording equipment, while the DI OUTPUT allows you to send the processed signal directly to a mixer or recording device.

Furthermore, the footswitch supports both latching and momentary operation. In addition to normal on/off switching, it's also possible to create instantaneous effects by activating the fuzz only while the footswitch is pressed.
