A limited edition model created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Ikebe Musical Instruments!
We have received a guitar with attractive specifications befitting an anniversary model, and we are selling it on your behalf.

The IKEBE 40th Anniversary model was completed in collaboration with the Fender Custom Shop. This instrument was developed with the theme of creating a Team Built Custom model using a Roasted Maple Neck, something that had not been realized at the Fender Custom Shop at the time.

The alder body is hand-selected to ensure uniform weight for each instrument. During the wood selection process, Master Builder Greg Fessler worked closely with the guitar maker, focusing on weight, grain, and tone, to select over 20 pieces of wood that produce a superb sound.

The 1-Piece Maple Neck, a distinctive feature of the '58 Stratocaster, was chosen to fully showcase the appeal of Roasted Maple. However, the thicker neck grip may be unacceptable to some when considering playability. Therefore, the '63 neck grip adopted was based on a suggestion from Mike Gahegan, and Master Builder Dennis Galuszka measured the neck shape from the original. It is slightly more rounded than the standard '63, providing a comfortable grip that feels just right the moment you pick it up.

The pickups, hand-wound Fat 50s, reproduce the superb natural resonance of the carefully selected wood materials. While based on a vintage style, it features a slightly gentler 9.5-inch fingerboard radius, narrow-tall frets, 22 frets, and a tone control that also affects the bridge pickup, as well as a tone pot that allows you to switch the neck pickup on and off. This is an exceptional instrument that combines vintage looks and sound with modern playability at a high level.

This guitar is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use, although there are a few minor scratches, some tarnishing on the parts, and some creasing on the protective film on the pickguard and back panel. Of course, there are no issues with playability, including the neck and electronics, so you can enjoy this guitar for many years to come. This is a very rare item, so please consider it while you have the chance!

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
