Description
The BJFE Honey Bee Deluxe is a pedal that incorporates a booster into the popular Honey Bee OD, known for its high responsiveness and sweet tone, allowing you to boost your lead sound like a 2-channel amp.

The HBOD is an overdrive pedal characterized by its overwhelmingly dynamic response, even within a pedal system. It offers headroom and frequency response reminiscent of a small, old amplifier, allowing you to achieve a tone similar to that of a recording made with a small amp, even with a large amplifier. Furthermore, it can be optimally positioned within a complex pedal system.

The Drive knob might seem to have little effect on its own. You'll feel its dynamics if you set it to 12 o'clock and strum the strings hard.

Bass, Treble, Lowmid, and Himid are 4-band EQ controls that adjust the guitar's tone. They allow for precise tonal shaping.

The Volume knob adjusts the balance of volume when the effect is ON or OFF. Start by setting it to 12 o'clock, and then adjust the tone from there.

One example of using the HBOD is to connect it to a clean amplifier and add clarity or distortion to the tone depending on the strength of your picking. With flatwound strings, you can get a mellow tone, while with roundwound strings, you can get a light, old-style distortion.

Placing the HBOD last in your pedal system will give you a soft response and a slight boost to the low-mids. It's also ideal for correcting bright amps or tones that have a ceiling effect in the high frequencies.

When used with a compressor, connecting the HBOD before the compressor provides distortion that expands the dynamic range of the tone without changing the level, while placing the HBOD after the compressor keeps the HBOD's input level constant. This can be used to adjust the HBOD's sustain with the compressor.

HBOD's dynamic performance results in longer-lasting sustain and works effectively when combined with other effects pedals.

● Booster
The booster on the Honey Bee Deluxe, which can be turned on/off with the Global Boost footswitch on the left, has its boost level controlled by the Boost knob on the far left.
This booster is based on the BJFE Baby Pink Booster, but with slightly brighter characteristics.

The Baby Pink Booster is a clean boost pedal originally created as a commemorative item to be included with the 100th Honey Bee OD.

The overdrive and booster can be turned on/off individually or simultaneously.

●Internal trim pot
The Honey Bee Deluxe features an internal trim pot, which controls the gain of the Boost channel.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.
