◆Bacchus Unique Series - Year of the Horse 2026
Bacchus' flagship model, the DUKE, has made a long-awaited comeback in 2025 as part of a new Japanese-made lineup called the "Unique Series." The word "Unique" means "one of a kind" or "unrivaled," and Bacchus, which has evolved alongside its individuality, has adopted this name for the series as a new culmination. This second model in the series is a limited edition themed around the 2026 zodiac sign, the "horse." Building on the success of the previous ODGS model, the Patina finish has been further refined, with an aged finish created by carving the elbow area and an even higher level of gloss than the previous model. The result is a finish that simultaneously possesses the texture of something that has been worn for many years and a high-quality shine.

◆Designs featuring the Chinese zodiac
The headpiece features a motif of the Year of the Horse, the zodiac animal for 2026. It's an original design capturing the image of a magnificent horse powerfully treading the earth.

◆ "Patina Finish" that expresses a well-worn look.
"Patina" is a term that describes the texture that develops over time, such as the sheen and fading that gradually appears on the surface of furniture and leather goods through daily use. This newly adopted Patina Finish perfectly replicates these characteristics, giving the guitar a well-worn, vintage look. In this painting technique, the colored layer and the lacquer film used on the top are thinner than those of a typical gloss finish, allowing the natural resonance of the wood to be maximized without hindering the vibration of the body material.

◆Inherited Original Design: The arched body shape cultivated in previous DUKE models is retained. Characterized by a well-defined curved line and delicate carving of the outer perimeter that connects to the body binding, it creates a beautiful three-dimensional effect on the body top, which can be considered the face of the guitar.

◆Neck setting for optimal playability: In set-neck models, the neck angle significantly impacts playability and sound. Similar to the arch shape, this model uses the same neck angle as previous DUKE models, employing a deep joint method that widens the bonding area between the body and neck, improving vibration transmission efficiency. This results in a taut attack with just the right amount of tension and a rich, resonant body.

◆Fretboard and Neck Designed for Playability The fretboard features a moderate 305R radius, allowing for a versatile setup suitable for any genre. The neck grip uses a U-shape that balances ease of gripping with stability. Rather than a thin, flat grip, it has a moderate thickness that allows for a secure hold, making it easy to use in all situations, from chord backing to single-note lead playing.

◆Reliable Parts Selection We carefully select and use highly reliable components, primarily from GOTOH, which has a reputation for stable quality. The bikes are meticulously assembled using reliable parts backed by a proven track record, such as CTS potentiometers and Switchcraft jacks.

◆Bacchus BSH-1
The pickups are "Bacchus BSH-1" with Alnico 5 magnets. The enamel wire of the coils is different for the front and rear pickups, and adjustments have been made to produce the optimal sound for each pickup position.
