~~~~~The following is the product description for a new item.~~~~~
The 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard has arrived!!
The 1959 Les Paul Standard Model shines brightly in the history of electric guitars! Its overwhelming sound, which has captivated countless musicians, and its beautiful body lines that alluringly charm the player, make it an icon that every rock guitarist aspires to own, even today!
Since its release in 1951, the Les Paul Standard has gone through a period of gold top finishes, and in 1958 adopted a sunburst finish, a look that was only produced for a short time until 1960! Among them, the "1959" model, which boasts exceptional popularity as a representative year, continues to reign as a great object that always attracts envious glances! Now, the 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard, which was released in 2019, the momentous 60th anniversary of the "1959" model, has arrived in full force, bringing together the best of the technology of the current Gibson Custom Shop!
Based on the 2018 model, which largely follows the True Historic specifications of the ultimate reissue model released in 2015, this cutting-edge anniversary model has been refined with even greater attention to detail! In addition to a revision of the color of the "Les Paul MODEL" silkscreen on the headstock, which could be called its "face," the Gibson logo design has also been changed to a more original, edgy design. The inlays, including the fretboard position markers, are made of cellulose material that is naturally dark in color rather than being colored, further enhancing the overall feel!
The toggle switch plate medallion, which has been adopted in recent years, is also a special 60th Anniversary design for 2019 only! The gleaming gold certificate is also a tool to celebrate this milestone year in style, and is sure to greatly enhance the satisfaction of you, the owner!
While continuing to use the Custombucker Alnico III pickups, which have become a staple in recent models, the potting has been completely eliminated from the coil section and base plate. By equipping it with newly installed bumblebee-type paper-oil capacitors and 500K CTS pots that pursue a vintage curve, a more "raw" texture and vintage feel have been achieved. The sharper response that follows picking more precisely than ever before will magically captivate the player with the Les Paul tone the moment the guitar is plugged into the amp!
Not only does it offer excellent clarity when the tone is rolled off, but its controllable assembly maintains a nice level of brightness even when the volume is turned down, making it a great match for modern usage!
The Gibson Custom Shop, which is constantly evolving, has released a commemorative anniversary model that is truly breathtaking in its level of craftsmanship! Please come to our store and experience its capabilities and full potential for yourself!
