Description
A pre-owned John Mayer signature Silver Sky SE Series model is now available!

The bolt-on body features poplar with contoured top and back, a scarf-jointed maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard featuring small bird inlays, and features the same "635JM" neck carve as the US model, a slightly flatter 8.5-inch fingerboard radius (compared to the original 7.25R), a contoured cutaway on the first string side, and a rounded joint for excellent playability from low to high positions.

The trademark PRS headstock has been redesigned to suit John Mayer's playing style. It features a reverse-shaped design to minimize interference with the hand during intense bending in the low position. The truss rod cover is a PRS original design, and the nut is the same thick PRS nut as the Custom.

The hardware features original parts such as non-locking vintage-style tuning machines, a designed joint plate, and control knobs. While the US model uses a six-point tremolo, the SE model features a two-point tremolo. This improves tuning stability and smooth arm action, while the vintage-style pressed saddles produce a rich, brilliant sound. The pickups are three 635JM "S" single-coil pickups originally designed for the SE. Aiming for a mid-'60s vintage tone, this versatile guitar also produces a thick, drive sound.

While there are some minor scratches and dullness on some parts, there are no deep scratches that detract from the aesthetic, and the guitar is generally in excellent condition. The frets remain at about 80% of their original height, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck and electrical components, making this a guitar you can enjoy for years to come.
