Description
Since its release in 1954, the Fender Stratocaster has remained a beloved model among guitarists worldwide. When people think of electric guitars, this is the shape that comes to mind for many.

This particular guitar, shipped around 1978, is a large-headstock model from the head serial number era and is in player's condition with some replaced parts.

【body】
The total weight is approximately 4.2 kg. The body is made of ash. The traditional Olympic White color shows signs of fading, sticker residue, dents, and tarnishing of the metal parts, giving it a vintage instrument feel. The rear pickup area has been routed to accommodate a humbucker, and consequently the pickguard, control knobs, and synchronized tremolo unit have been replaced.

【neck】
The neck and fingerboard are made of maple. The fingerboard surface has been neatly recoated following a refret. Although there is some paint peeling typical of this period on the sides of the fingerboard and the back of the headstock, discoloration on the top of the headstock, and tarnishing of the metal parts, it is in relatively good condition. The tuners function well, with only slight variations in tension. The frets and nut have been replaced, and the playability is very good. The headstock thickness is 14.2mm. The nut width is 41.0mm. It features a relatively solid neck shape that is slightly triangular.

[Electrical System]
The controls are in the orthodox Stratocaster style: 5-way pickup selector (replaced), master volume, neck (front) position tone, and center position tone. The center tone potentiometer has been replaced. Other internal parts, including the pickups, are in their original condition.

Based on the distinctive compression and lustrous, warm tone characteristic of the late 70s, this guitar boasts a clear and warm neck (front) and middle position, and a trebly and flashy bridge (rear) position, making it a guitar packed with the charm typical of Stratocasters from this era.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
