A saxophone that costs less than 300,000 yen – how good is it really?
We put it to the test and see the best balance between price and performance!
Saxophones come in a wide range of prices, but there are some that are more expensive than beginner models but cheaper than advanced models. We'll be reviewing instruments in this price range—those that cost around 300,000 yen—with some demonstrations.
■ This model is compatible with replacing the neck with a Yamaha YAS-480
custom neck, allowing for future upgrades.
■ Antigua G42:
An ambitious keyboard that offers an affordable price while incorporating a unique brass alloy and a compact key layout.
■ Chateau CAS-50BM:
A noteworthy new series from a brand that has been gaining recognition in recent years, pursuing high cost performance.
If you're looking for a slightly better instrument to start with, or if you want to step up from a beginner model, this is a must-see! Compare the differences in playing feel and sound of these three instruments, which you can't tell just from the price, by listening to them live.
