This pre-owned Custom Deluxe Stratocaster from the Custom Shop 2012 is now in stock! It was produced in limited quantities in 2012. It features a beautiful quilted maple body top and was manufactured to cutting-edge specifications at the time. This is a pre-owned, consigned item.

This Custom Deluxe Stratocaster is a modern Stratocaster that meets modern needs and offers outstanding playability, in contrast to the Fender Custom Shop's Vintage Series.

This 2012 Custom Deluxe Series model is the successor to the highly popular Custom Classic Series, boasting modern specifications and excellent playability. We now have a used, consigned item in stock! The body is crafted from carefully selected ash. While the 2011 model featured flame maple, this 2012 model features a few millimeters of 3A quilted maple on the top. Its thickness creates a beautiful body that changes color depending on the light. The neck is made of 2A flame maple. While the original model was available with either a rosewood or one-piece maple fingerboard, this particular model features a rosewood fingerboard. The machine heads are the popular locking type Sperzel, favored by Jeff Beck. This model features a non-locking type. The head adjuster allows for instant rod adjustment.

The neck features a large C-shape and a thick grip. Its sturdy grip, 9.5-radius fingerboard, and mid-jumbo frets further enhance playability. The low string height allows for a wide range of playing options and smooth fingering. The heel cut at the joint ensures stress-free playing even in high positions.

The bridge is equipped with the popular two-point tremolo found on the Custom Classic ST. It offers smooth arm movements, a solid attack, and fat sustain that you can't get with plain saddles!

The 2011 Custom Deluxe Stratocaster featured three Master Design pickups from the '69 ST/Texas Special, matched to the model's specifications. However, this 2012 model features three hand-wound pickups by Abbey, which were so rare that they were no longer available for order even back then! The harmonically rich, lustrous clean sound pairs well with compact effects pedals. This is a truly gorgeous instrument!

The body and neck are finished with a urethane finish. The neck has a amber satin (matte) finish for a smooth grip. This Custom Deluxe Series guitar boasts a classic vintage style, yet boasts premium looks, performance-ready specs, and easy maintenance, all packed with modern features.

This time, we have a used item in stock for sale (consignment sale). It was manufactured in 2012.
There are some minor scratches and tarnish on some parts, but overall it's in excellent condition! It doesn't affect playability or usage. There are some scratches on the back of the body that look like they were buffed unevenly, but they don't affect playability. The vinyl pickguard and back panel are still attached.

The neck has a slight bow on the 6th string side and a slight high placement, but is still in usable condition. The frets are also in good condition and can be used without any problems. Most of the frets remain. The nut is also in good condition.
The truss rod has only about 10 degrees of movement remaining in the tightening direction, but it is still possible to adjust it at this point.
Currently, it is set up for .009-.042 gauge. We recommend using it with .009-.042 gauge.

As mentioned above, this item is a used item sold on consignment (a used item on consignment), and will be delivered in its current condition.
