PRS specialty store "THE IKEBE PRS VAULT"
opens on the 2nd floor of Ikeshibu on Friday, March 20th 

To celebrate the opening of the PRS specialty store on Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st, founder Paul Reed Smith will be visiting Japan to hold a number of special events. A campaign will be held from Monday, March 2nd until the store's opening, offering exclusive prizes to purchasers.

Ikebe Musical Instruments will open a PRS specialty store, "THE IKEBE PRS VAULT," on the second floor of its flagship store, IKEBE SHIBUYA. To celebrate the opening, PRS founder Paul Reed Smith will be visiting Japan on Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st. A variety of events are planned, including a clinic, a raffle for PRS products, and a meet-and-greet event with Paul Reed Smith.

This is not just a place to "choose" a guitar, but
a special space where you can experience the philosophy of sound, stimulate your senses, and experience the world of PRS.

"THE IKEBE PRS VAULT" offers an overwhelming lineup of guitars, from the highly cost-effective SE series to rare Private Stock models, all in one place. It's a space that can be enjoyed by a wide range of customers, from PRS fans to those who want to try out models they've been interested in or experience the world of PRS. The
 
lighting is also carefully designed to convey the grain and finish of the guitars, and the first 3D hanging display of guitars in Japan, designed specifically for THE IKEBE PRS VAULT, has been realized.

 

In addition, in the test-play area, dedicated staff will carefully guide you through each guitar, asking about your purpose and preferences, so you can fully experience the different characters of each model. THE IKEBE PRS VAULT is a special space where you can experience the world of PRS with all five senses.

「THE VAULT」and「THE IKEBE PRS VAULT」

On the second floor of the PRS factory in Maryland, USA, near Paul Reed Smith's office, there is a room called "The Vault," where special woods selected for Private Stock are stored.
 
Many Private Stock guitars are selected from the wood stored in "The Vault" and individually crafted using PRS craftsmanship to maximize the beauty of the material. As a result, "The Vault," a "storehouse of special woods," is a symbol of Private Stock. The name "The Ikebe PRS Vault," which will be opening soon, also comes from "The Vault."
*Private Stock is PRS's highest-end custom order line. Each guitar is crafted to order using carefully selected woods and special specifications.

The story behind the creation of "THE IKEBE PRS VAULT"

Under the PRS Official Dealer system (Dealer Tiers) developed by PRS, Ikebe Music has established a system for handling PRS products at various locations across Japan. We are certified as a Signature Dealer in the Shibuya area (Grandy & Jungle), a Full-Line Dealer in the Akihabara area, and a CORE Dealer in the Osaka/Ikebukuro area, and have established a PRS proposal system in all four areas.

In particular, Grandy & Jungle on the second floor of IKEBE SHIBUYA has built a long-standing partnership with PRS as a Signature Dealer, one of the highest-ranking PRS Official Dealers.

To bring this relationship to fruition as a PRS-only specialty store at Ikebe Musical Instruments' flagship store, Ikeshibu, PRS Guitars founder Paul Reed Smith himself named the store "THE IKEBE PRS VAULT."
