FAQ

Description

We have a used MOOER compact amp simulator medal in stock!!
The Mooer Micro Preamp 002 is a mini-sized preamp pedal released in 1990 that captures the sound of a modern British amp that laid the foundation for subsequent rock sounds. The 900 amp, which retains the feel of a vintage sound while covering modern high-gain tones, became a long-selling product, captivating many players. The quintessential British sound of the 90s and 00s is here.

●Micro Preamp
The Mooer Micro Preamp series is a digital preamp pedal that captures the sounds of various tube amplifiers in a mini-sized enclosure. Intelligent Amplifir Modeling technology captures the sound, dynamics, and response of real tube amplifiers.

This compact unit is packed with features. It includes a 3-band EQ, two selectable channels, and a built-in cabinet simulator. The footswitch can be used not only for active/bypass but also as a channel selector.

Micro Preamp series pedals can be used not only as effects pedals, but also connected to the effects return or power amp input to directly drive the amplifier's power amp. Furthermore, line recording using a speaker simulator is possible. They can also be output directly to a PA system or monitor.

● Fully independent dual channels
The Micro Preamp series allows you to select two independent channels. While the control knobs are shared, the knob settings do not affect the other channel. Switching channels using the CH/CAB button or footswitch loads the previous settings, regardless of the current knob positions.
In other words, once you've created a sound, it won't be affected by switching channels or moving the knobs.
The LED color changes when you switch channels, so you can see at a glance which channel you're currently on.

● Cabinet simulator
The Micro Preamp series features a built-in speaker simulator that simulates the sound coming from a speaker, and can be directly connected to PA systems, monitors, audio interfaces, and more. The speaker simulator can be switched on and off by long-pressing the CH/CAB button. The LED will blink slowly while the cabinet simulator is on.

●Controls - VOL: Adjusts the volume.
• GAIN: Adjusts the intensity of the distortion.
• TRE: Adjusts the high-frequency response.

• Footswitch: Features two operating modes. To switch between operating modes, press and hold the footswitch for 2 seconds.
Active/Bypass: Press the footswitch to switch between active and bypass modes for the preamp. It can then be used like a regular effects pedal.
Channel Switching: Press the footswitch to switch between the two channels. This is useful when using it as a permanently ON preamp.

●Connection・DCIN: Connect a center-negative DC 9V adapter. Current consumption is 30mA.
• INPUT: Connect the instrument's cable here. When using it as a preamp, it is also effective to connect a distortion effect pedal or similar before it.
