Founded in 1939 by TJ Getzen, the Getzen company has upheld its policy of "Getzen for brass instruments" for over half a century, and continues to do so to this day.

In the 1960s, they successfully developed the best-selling 900 series, and along with that, all models were redesigned, attracting keen attention from professional musicians.
Since 1991, the company has achieved further maturity and development through its ties with Allied Pharmaceuticals, founded by Robert Getzen (the current chairman).

Starting from the repair of wind instruments, Allied Instruments, whose latest technology has developed to such an extent that its catalog is considered the bible of wind instrument repair in America, has combined with the manufacturing techniques of Getzen's skilled craftsmen. This fusion has allowed Getzen to maintain a top-level quality as a specialist manufacturer of brass instruments, and it has now achieved an unshakeable position and reputation as a specialist manufacturer of handcrafted wind instruments.
Furthermore, in order to further improve quality, we are conducting research and development on custom series and other products based on new concepts.

Getzen continues to meticulously handcraft high-quality instruments to meet the demands of players of all levels.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties
