Narrow pitch neck-through Monarch with Oteil Barr bridge!
This is a Monarch 6-string neck-through model with a high-quality walnut body and figured maple top for an elegant presence.
It features a 35-inch scale and 17.5 mm string pitch, and the tight low range of the walnut body and the unique compression feel of the through-neck design provide a comfortable feel.It is also an easy-to-handle and maneuverable instrument that retains the sensual presence and brilliant tone that are characteristic of Fodera.
There are signs of use, such as small dents and rust on the PU pole pieces, but no damage to the wood or peeling paint that would affect its functionality. Considering it's over 20 years old, it's in good condition, and the natural fading of the finish and the texture of the kingwood fingerboard give it a stately look. The frets and fingerboard have been cleaned and are in excellent condition.
The truss rod and frets are in good condition, making for comfortable playability. There was some slight roughness in the pots, but each part has been cleaned.
The unique musical sound of Fodera has captivated countless top bass players, some of whom are considered to be among the world's finest in both technique and expression. The full appeal of the company's instruments is expressed in the magnificent performances they have recorded, and listening to these recordings makes no explanation necessary.
