862 50th Anniversary Edition Channel Strip

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of American console and outboard equipment brand API, we have just received the special channel strip, the API 862 50th Anniversary Edition, produced in a limited run of 50 units worldwide.

The API 862 50th Anniversary Edition is an ultra-special limited edition product equipped with API's traditional microphone preamps and a 3-band EQ (550A Saul Walker Edition).
By installing it in a 1U rack, we have ensured a stable power supply and further improved the sound quality.

*Only a few units have arrived in Japan, and we only have two units available at our store.
*We recommend using American voltage 117V.
*As this is a limited edition item, we may provide you with an opened product for display purposes.

<312 Microphone Preamp Features>
Reproduces the original 312 circuit.
High gain of +34 to +69dB.
Equipped with original AP2516 input transformer.
Equipped with only one API 2520 op-amp, just like the original.
It sends an extremely simple and pure signal via the shortest possible route to the 312 outputs.


<550A>
Reproduces the original early 1970s Saul Walker design.
Equipped with two 2520 op-amps (currently one)
*Saul Walker is a founding member of API.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
