★Discrete 4-channel mic/line preamp/DI

Like the API 3124+, the 3124V is a high-quality, compact 4-channel microphone preamplifier.
It features the RE-115K microphone input transformer and output transformer used in all API mic preamps and all API product lineups.
Additionally, the 3124V features a variable output level control and switchable 3:1 output transformer selection.
It also has a phantom power switch that can be switched on/off for each channel on the front panel.
Additionally, a -20dB pad switch is provided on the front panel for both the microphone and Hi-Z instrument inputs.

An output level control is included to allow compatibility with any DAW or other level-sensitive devices.
Additionally, the 3:1 output transformer tap selection provides a 9.5dB output attenuator.

The 3124V has a maximum gain of 65dB.
The Hi-Z input on the front panel is connected directly to the op amp.
It is possible to increase the input level of low-level, high-impedance instruments such as electric guitars and basses without passing them through a DI.
This Hi-Z input can accept input levels up to +20dBu, making it ideal for keyboards and other high-input electronic instruments.
The output of the microphone preamp is output via an XLR connector on the rear panel.
