This is a complete reproduction model of the original 525 from the early 1970s, faithfully reproducing the design drawings and specifications of the time.
The 2520 features API's renowned, original 2520 op-amp, a discrete circuit that offers unparalleled reliability and exceptional sound quality. Unlike today's typical VCA compressors, the 2520 employs a dynamic control system. The "CEILING" control allows you to increase gain reduction while increasing the output level, allowing you to steadily manage sound levels, making it the ideal solid-state feedback compressor.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
