CAT'S Factory AT-222 [AKIRA TAKASAKI Signature Pedal]

The clean booster "AT-222," highly praised by Akira Takasaki of LOUDNESS, has been renewed!

The CAT'S Factory signature pedal AT-222 is used by Akira Takasaki on stage and in a variety of other situations.
The striking red and white rising sun design, which is the band's image color, has now been renewed!
The letters "81-14," representing the years 1981 when LOUDNESS debuted and 2014 when the AT-222 was released, have been changed to "AT-222 81-22," representing the model name and the year 2022 (2022), when the AT-222 was renewed, and Takasaki's "Akira" signature in the lower right corner has been changed from black to gold.
The CAT'S Factory logo has also been redesigned and is now printed at the bottom of the pedal surface.

Of course, the product version uses the same wiring materials and parts as the one used by Mr. Takasaki, and each unit is carefully manufactured over a long period of time.
As Takasaki highly praises, this is an extremely excellent clean booster that adds thickness, crispness, and a sense of sound pressure to the sound, creating a powerful sound image that doesn't get lost in band sounds.It also adds crispness and brilliance to clean sounds, and adds a slight compression feel, improving the natural clarity of the sound.
There is also a mode-switching mini-switch next to the GAIN knob; "Regular" is a mode that narrows the high frequencies and emphasizes the mid-range, while "LOUDNESS" is a loud boost mode.
When the effect is ON, even if the GAIN knob is set to "0", the original sound is boosted, and when it is OFF, the original sound is not affected by the true bypass system.

CAT'S Factory pedals are used by leading guitarists and bassists, including Takasaki and Masayoshi Yamashita, but because they are manufactured and sold only to direct orders from users, new pedals are not available in music stores, and the AT-222 series is only sold at a limited number of music stores.

This renewed version has already been incorporated into the system of the "LOUDNESS 40th Anniversary Japan Circuit 2022 CHAPTER 1 SUNBURST ~ Gamushara" tour and is being used extensively, so many people have probably experienced its true value.
