FAQ

Description
The DRV is a preamp/distortion pedal developed in collaboration with Jon Ashley of Bondi Effects, offering excellent nuance and expressive capabilities.

After three long years of repeated prototype creation and circuit adjustments, a truly special pedal has been completed. The DRV pedal embodies everything Matthew Hoopes himself sought in a distortion pedal. While possessing a vintage sound and concept, the subtle interplay of the three knobs allows you to discover a wide variety of sonic vectors.

When the electric guitar's characteristic midrange blends with clear, warm harmonics, it gives clarity to the tone of every instrument. The tone at lower gain settings, around the transition from preamp to distortion, is exceptional. The DRV takes pride in its unique dynamic range and sensitivity design, which transitions from a clean, preamp-like sound to one with a subtle increase in distortion. Of course, the thick, clean fuzz sound at high gain settings is also very appealing.

DRV manufactures and wires all its products in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. They assemble through-hole components onto PCBs using a traditional, old-fashioned method.
