Oz Design has released its first transformerless, high-quality FET Compressor Effector, available through channels other than their direct sales outlets.

Oz Design is a domestic handmade brand that produces microphone preamps, studio rack compressors, DIs, and other audio equipment. It's a brand to watch, highly trusted by professional musicians, including Futoshi Sakai.

■A pedal compressor version of the rack-mount product Dual FET Compressor -Caplawball- is now available.
While retaining the feel of classic FET compressors, the inclusion of a MIX knob and Sc.HPF switch allows for greater flexibility in sound shaping.
To make sound shaping at your feet easier, we've made the Attack/Release/Sc.HPF controls into a simple two-option switch, eliminating the complexity of settings and aiming for intuitive sound creation.

■Excellent visibility with LED reduction meter. Equipped with a reduction meter, you can visually adjust the reduction amount. Even if you change instruments and the input level changes, you can quickly check the reduction amount.

■Adjust the MIX knob to pursue your desired texture. By blending the original sound with the compressed sound, you can control the desired texture (compression level) exactly as you like.

■Following the familiar cat motif from the Dual FET Compressor, the adorable cat paws touching a ball of yarn are a hallmark of the Caplawball, and that cuteness is alive and well in this pedal as well.

This product is transformerless. It offers a faster response than the FET1TR model and is recommended for those who prioritize the original sound.
