Description
The Geddy Lee signature model DI-2112, which sadly ceased production in 2024, is finally being reissued in response to overwhelming demand from Japan!

Rush, a veteran band that has continued to perform with its unwavering trio since 1974, has seen Neil Peart's dramatic drumming intertwine with Geddy Lee's intricate bass lines. Geddy hadn't used a stage amp and cabinet since the 1996 Test for Echo Tour. He has used a variety of equipment to create his own unique tone, and at the heart of his equipment history since 2001 has been the SansAmp RBI and/or the SansAmp RPM.

Born from a long-standing relationship with Mr. Lee, the "DI-2112" is a new piece of equipment that combines rack-mount quality with pedal portability, designed for use on a studio desktop or on top of an amp.

The drive preamp section is designed based on the versatile SansAmp RPM, offering a wide range of sound possibilities from powerful bass to crisp highs. The deep preamp section provides a powerful and thick tone. It can be used on its own or blended directly with a mixer and two amplifiers externally. The DI-2112's dual analog circuitry allows you to blend the dry sound while emulating the gain and overdrive of a SansAmp tube amplifier. It also features a semi-parametric EQ and a switch to switch to a tighter sound.

● A blend control for directly controlling the SansAmp's tube amp emulation and the instrument's signal.
●Semi-parametric EQ with sweep function. (170Hz~3.0kHz, cut/boost 12dB)
●Turning on the Tight switch produces a brighter sound when the setting is clean.
When using the distortion setting, you can create a sharper sound.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.
