The Don Grosh "NOS Retro SSH" re-examines the traditional ST style, seamlessly blending the sound, playability, and looks demanded by modern players. This instrument combines a lightweight swamp ash body with a one-piece maple neck and a lacquer finish, giving it a well-worn look from the start, while developing a richer character the more you play it. In addition to the crisp attack and sparkling highs characteristic of ash wood, it offers a wide range of sound shaping thanks to Grosh's original SSH pickup layout. It features a 5-way selector and a push/pull tone control, allowing for flexible handling from the delicate clean tones characteristic of single-coils to powerful humbucker sounds. Furthermore, the use of a Gotoh 1088 Vintage Tremolo and Locking KLUSON tuners ensures high tuning stability and practicality while maintaining a vintage feel. The high level of craftsmanship, a hallmark of USA handmade craftsmanship, is also a major attraction.

This particular guitar is in generally excellent condition, although there is some slight paint chipping hidden directly beneath the bridge plate, some light wiping marks on the body, some pick scratches on the pickguard, and some tarnishing on the hardware. The frets have about 80% of their height remaining, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck condition, truss rod, and electronics, so it can be enjoyed for many years to come. Please consider it!

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties
