Description

Combining 150 years of SONOR's craftsmanship with the technology and specifications that have been acclaimed in German-made drums, this new Made in Germany drum series meets the sound, style, and setup demands of modern drummers.

MOMENTUM drums all feature a 9-ply, 6mm medium shell. Furthermore, you can choose from three types of shell material: Maple, Birch, and Beech. The ability to select from these three shell materials, each with distinct acoustic properties, within the same size and finish is a major feature of MOMENTUM drums.

The 9-ply, 6mm maple shell delivers balanced mid-low frequencies and natural sustain.
It is characterized by a soft, enveloping sound and a rich resonance that fills the space.

• North American Maple Shell: North American maple wood is characterized by its soft, warm, and well-balanced tone. It provides a rich, musical sound with a strong bass core and naturally blended mid and high frequencies.

By arranging the wood grain in alternating directions for each ply, the resilience of each ply is stabilized, maintaining the roundness of the shell, and a synergistic effect is achieved that also amplifies shell vibration.

・OPTIMUM SHELL MEASUREMENT
OSM=Optimized Shell Measurement
This is SONOR's traditional shell size design, which slightly reduces the outer diameter of the shell to achieve ideal contact between the head and the shell.

・DUAL GLIDE SYSTEM
The Dual Glide system ensures smooth, noiseless action. The snare wire mounting section can be removed with a single touch, making it easy to change the snare-side head.

POWER HOOP
This hoop features a highly rigid 2.3mm steel construction that suppresses unwanted overtones, resulting in a tight, focused sound with a pronounced attack and a clear, well-defined tone.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

■ Stock

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

  • North America & Oceania: 20–30 days (estimated)

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties
