The Fender Custom Shop is a section established in 1987 to create the finest guitars under the Fender brand, using carefully selected materials from the wood sourced by Fender and employing traditional handcrafting techniques and advanced manufacturing methods. Inheriting the long-standing tradition and technology of Fender, this section offers a lineup of truly top-of-the-line instruments, including one-of-a-kind models like the Masterbuilder Series, assembled by a limited number of staff.
Many of the tools used in their production are the same ones that were used back then. The instruments, created with the meticulous attention to detail of staff who are intimately familiar with Fender guitar know-how, boast the finest quality and sound to satisfy the player, and will become a reliable companion that you can cherish for a lifetime.

The newly introduced original model, the Limited Edition Double Esquire Special, is a guitar that blends sophisticated style and sound. It features a single-binding two-piece premium ash body, custom-shop hand-wound "Loaded Nocaster" pickups, and improved "'51 Nocaster" wiring. A blender pot allows you to freely blend the sounds of the neck and bridge pickups, and special tone capacitors and resistors create a very usable rhythm tone in the neck position.

The Custom Shop Loaded Nocaster pickups consist of a hand-wound single-coil bridge pickup and an open-load neck pickup, both connected to a 3-way pickup switch with the highly tonally flexible "Modified '51 Nocaster" wiring. In position 3, only the neck pickup is selected, and a 0.001μF capacitor and 10KΩ resistor provide a very usable rhythm tone with slightly reduced volume and tone. In position 2, only the neck pickup is selected and connected directly to the volume pot. In position 1, only the bridge pickup is selected, and the volume and blend pots allow you to mix the neck pickup to your liking.

Other features include a stained AAA-grade flame maple neck ("10/56 V" profile), 21 6105 frets, a single-ply eggshell pickguard, a '51-'54 bridge with brass saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, a bone nut, and a round string tree.
It comes with a tweed hardshell case, strap, certificate of authenticity, and spec sheet.

We have just received a highly recommended, high-quality used item! It's a 2018 model.
As this guitar has a relic finish, it's difficult to determine if there are any scratches that may have occurred later. However, it shows minimal signs of wear overall, and its playability is currently excellent. We have performed a full maintenance on it, so it is in recommended condition and ready to use. The one-piece pickguard with five bolts has some gaps on both sides due to age, but this does not affect playability.

The frets have been leveled and are in perfect working order. Approximately 85% of their lifespan remains. The nut is also in good working order. The truss rod can be adjusted normally without any issues.

The weight is approximately 3.02 kg. It is extremely lightweight and has a well-balanced design that makes it easy to use during long stage performances, recording sessions, and rehearsals.
