A used Frankenstein series guitar, inheriting the DNA of that iconic instrument, has arrived!


Perhaps no guitar is more famous than the Frankenstein guitar, a favorite of Eddie Van Halen. This guitar was born from Eddie's attempt to combine the sound of a classic single-cut solid-body guitar with the physical characteristics of a Fender Stratocaster and the functionality of a tremolo bar. The EVH Frankenstein Frankie Series is a user-friendly adaptation of Eddie Van Halen's iconic red, black, and white Frankenstrat guitar, featuring a worn, relic finish.

This solid-body basswood electric guitar produces a superb growl, and its thick, robust midrange delivers a core sound that won't get lost even in a demanding rhythm section. The direct-mount Wolfgang humbucker brings out Eddie's classic tone, especially when blasted through a high-gain amp at high volume.

Featuring a slim quarter-sawn maple neck and a compound radius relic maple fretboard perfect for shredding, this guitar is ideal for shredding. The D-Tuna equipped Floyd Rose tremolo easily replicates Eddie Van Halen's signature whammy bar techniques, and provides effortless access to drop D tuning with a single touch. The EVH Frankenstein Series offers a treasure trove of models, imbued with classic Van Halen vibes, delivering exceptional tone and lightning-fast playability.

This particular guitar is in player's condition, with an aged finish on the entire body from the time of manufacture, as well as significant scratches, discoloration, dents, and tarnished rust on the hardware. The frets have about 80% of their height remaining, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck condition, truss rod, and electronics, so it can be enjoyed for many years to come. Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
