Description
These are hand-selected items purchased in early November 2023 when a representative visited the Gibson Montana Acoustic factory!
This 1936 J-35 model is particularly appealing for its thick, powerful sound. The wood grain of the thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top is also very beautiful, and I think you'll enjoy the gutsy Gibson sound with this guitar.
Don't miss this opportunity to buy it!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
A J-35 reissue model that pursues a vintage feel! From Gibson Acoustic's Custom Shop comes the "Historic Reissue Collection" series, which takes vintage style to the extreme. Among them, the J-35 is a favorite among dedicated fans!
Before the arrival of the J-45, a now-classic and incredibly popular Gibson model, the J-35 existed for a short period before the war. While its basic style follows that of the round-shouldered J-45, it features a fire-stripe pickguard unique to this era, a lentang-style bridge, and a script logo. This gives it a pre-war vintage look and a sophisticated feel, making it a model with a cult following among Gibson acoustic guitar enthusiasts.
Previously, the J-35 was produced as a more affordable version of the J-45, but this is a long-awaited vintage style model, and it comes from the highly acclaimed Historic Reissue Collection, which is said to reproduce the original to the utmost degree, with attention paid to every detail.
In terms of specifications, it features a top made of superb thermally aged Adirondack spruce, which is highly regarded. The dark sunburst finish, reminiscent of pre-war Gibsons, and the extremely thin paint finish give it a vintage feel, and you can enjoy the rich, mellow sound of a vintage instrument with just the right amount of maturity.
The neck grip has a thick, sturdy feel with a nut width of approximately 45mm, a thickness that will appeal to vintage-style enthusiasts.
Compared to previous J-35 models, this one boasts a higher level of refinement and a greater degree of perfection. I believe that both its sound and looks will fully satisfy Gibson acoustic fans.
