It's in like-new, pristine condition!
Accessories: Outer box, instruction manual

Best selections from professional sound environments such as studios and live performances.

The Para Acoustic D.I. is designed with a focus on pure sound quality, faithfully amplifying the instrument's original tone. Many musicians have praised its excellence as a pure preamp, making it an indispensable stage tool. Beyond being an excellent preamp, it also functions as a DI box, essential for live performances and recordings. Equipped with essential controls such as Gain, Notch, and Invert, it's a recommended preamp for guitars and all acoustic instruments.

~ Mazda ~
The Para Acoustic D.I. employs a discrete Class A circuit, the best circuit for achieving a natural sound. It faithfully amplifies the instrument's original tone. This acoustic guitar preamp DI is highly recommended for players who are committed to achieving a sound that is as close to the natural acoustic tone as possible.

■Gain Setting: By adjusting the trim gain to the optimal level to match the pickup output, you can maximize the performance of the pickup and significantly reduce hiss noise from the amplifier. The maximum value is 18dB.

■ Equalizer settings
LOW: Low-frequency control with a target of 85Hz.

NOTCH: This is used to cut the frequency range that is prone to feedback on acoustic guitars, resulting in a booming sound throughout the guitar. To set it up, first turn the NOTCH knob all the way to the '+' side. Then, turn the knob labeled ADGB until you find the point where the feedback or booming sound is loudest. Once you've found the point, turn the NOTCH knob towards the '?' side.

MID: Adjusts the frequency range from 400Hz to 1.6kHz. Many acoustic guitars have too much of the 1kHz range when amplified, so slightly cutting this point (3-6 dB) is effective.

PRES: This controls the 5kHz frequency range. It slightly cuts the sound when the PA system is too emphasized, and conversely, boosts the sound when it's weak or muffled.

TREB: Controls airy or icy high frequencies within a 10kHz bandwidth.

■INVERT settings
The INVERT switch inverts the phase of feedback that occurs when interacting with external devices such as monitors, resulting in the best possible sound output. By matching the phase with amplifiers, mixers, etc., a fuller, more natural sound is produced.
