Description
Updated with the latest Fodera/Trickfish preamps.
The musical tone and undeniable presence of Fodera instruments that stimulate the imagination of artists have captivated countless top-class bass players, some of whom are considered to be among the world's best in terms of both performance technique and sense of expression. The appeal of Fodera instruments is self-evident, as evidenced by the incredible performances recorded to date.
This neck-through, six-string model features an alder body top crafted from crotch walnut, a rare material said to only be harvested from 1-3% of large walnut trees. It features an MG body shape, 24 frets, and a 35-inch scale. Manufactured in 1998, this instrument features original Duncan custom pickups, an updated preamp with the latest Trickfish Fodera Custom circuit, new original knobs, and has been serviced and re-set up with DR Hi Beams strings, so it's ready to play right out of the box.
There are several dents, mainly on the back and sides of the body, and some light dents on the neck and headstock, but I don't think they cause any noticeable issues when playing. (If you are concerned about this, please contact us in advance.)
The body top and fingerboard are in relatively good condition. The black bridge, which is prone to discoloration, has discolored due to oxidation, but all screws are still in working order and there are no problems. (Don't forget to unlock the saddles when adjusting the string height.)
The truss rod, frets, neck condition, electrical system, etc. are in good condition with no particular issues in terms of functionality. Wrenches are missing, so we will provide them at our store.
A high-quality 6-string Fodera recommended for players.
