Description
Description
Taylor has become a global manufacturer with a large market share. This top brand boasts a wide lineup of models, from those that pursue the highest level of craftsmanship and playability to those in beginner-friendly price ranges.
This model was unveiled at the 2024 AMM Show. It features premium big leaf maple back and sides and a Sitka spruce top. This model features Taylor's original and classic Grand Auditorium cutaway shape, offering a comfortable body shape yet a well-balanced sound with volume, powerful lows, and crisp highs. Combined with the ultra-thin finish, this model produces a dynamic yet clear and rich natural resonance.
The bracing features V-bracing, now Taylor's standard. It not only improves sustain and provides a clearer tone, but also ensures sufficient bridge strength and rigidity. The beautifully tuned sound is enjoyable for strumming, but is especially powerful for arpeggios and solos. While the black graphite nut is a distinctive detail, the rest of the exterior is the same as the previous model, with a refined woody look that exudes the presence of a premium model, including fingerboard inlays, avalon purfling on the body, and an armrest where your elbows rest.
The neck is made of hard rock maple with an ebony fingerboard, and features Taylor's signature gentle soft V-grip on the low frets and a thinner grip on the high frets, allowing for smooth fingering.
The pickup system is the ES2 system, designed and manufactured by Taylor. It's meticulously engineered to maximize the unique characteristics of Taylor guitars, and its incredibly natural sound has been proven by countless musicians on stage and in recording sessions. The simple volume, treble, and bass controls allow you to boost or cut the treble and bass, providing a wide range of effective adjustments.
The sides and backs are finished in a purple sunburst color not found on the regular model, and combined with the figured parts, it truly has the feel of a show model.
