Thicker than the JB and more articulate than the PB, the Music Man Stingray is a quintessential active bass, known for its Leo Fender design and a rich heritage. The humbucking pickups produce a thick, crisp, and powerful sound, making it a staple active bass for any genre, from punk rock to pop.
Featuring a bold, crisp midrange sound and the funky bass that so many players, including Louis Johnson and Flea, have played hard on, this model is a must-have. Its crisp, punchy tone retains the instrument's characteristic "wildness" and "openness" in a good way, and the more you play it, the more it responds to your touch.
The powerful bass output, with its diverse nuances such as powerful bass produced by the active 3-band EQ and a tone that emphasizes the mids, has a distinct personality that is not found in any other bass, and is a sound that will captivate bassists, so much so that it could be called a classic.
This instrument was manufactured in 2015, and although there are some scratches and minor dents on the body and headstock, it can be played without any problems.
There is ample room for the truss rod and the neck is in good condition.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
