Shinichi Suzuki, one of Japan's leading charismatic engineers, runs a workshop in downtown Tokyo, handling everything from equipment manufacturing and customization to repairs and guitar making. His products, which combine artistic and unique designs with reliable sound honed through practical experience, have garnered strong support from top artists both domestically and internationally, as well as many working musicians.

The "BASS MASTER PREAMP," which discretely reproduces the circuitry of a vacuum tube bass amplifier, offers a tube amp-like, moderate compression and a rich sound with thickness and punch without compromising the instrument's original tone. It also features a "DRV" mode with dedicated volume and tone controls, allowing you to enjoy a driven sound as well.

For those who are dissatisfied with the blandness and "line-like" sound that often results from connecting a passive Jazz Bass directly to a line output, this might be the perfect solution. If you're looking to add just a little more thickness to your sound with your pedalboard, give it a try.

This unit is identical in specifications to the special edition Bass Master Preamp made for bass master Pino Palladino. It features a slight boost in the low end to achieve a perfect sound with all tone controls centered in the clean setting, and conversely, a slight cut in the low end when drive is turned on, resulting in a smooth drive sound. Furthermore, the enclosure is made from a rare flame-patterned scratch, and was manufactured to the same specifications!

This "PRO" model has a fat low end that pairs perfectly with the PB.

We use DHL Express for shipping.
