Description
Description
While inheriting the traditional JB style, the original MJ model has been given a unique Momose touch. Each guitar is handcrafted by artisans at the Asuka factory, from woodworking to painting and assembly. The high playability born from its exquisite craftsmanship has earned it the support of top players both in Japan and overseas, offering the unwavering quality you expect from a guitar made in Japan.
This model features an ash body and maple fingerboard, and is equipped with the newly designed original Gravitas pickup. By realigning the pole piece height, the output balance of each string has been optimized, resulting in a thicker sound from the lows to the mids, giving the sound more depth and presence. It also features a new Centralab oil capacitor. Its responsiveness to the player's nuances and forward-focused brightness, combined with the new pickup, create a new Momose tone.
Additionally, the tone pot is equipped with a turbo switch, which allows you to raise the pot to produce a more powerful sound, and despite being a passive circuit, the wide range of tones available enhances the player's expressiveness and creativity.
In terms of playability, the fingerboard radius has been changed from a rounded 210R to a flatter 310R, and the side position marks have been changed to Luminlay. This allows for a lower string height than ever before, making it easier to play technical, fast phrases. The tuning machines also feature the compact and stylish GOTOH GBU510C-12 tuning machines. Their precision construction and 20:1 gear ratio ensure stable tuning.
Overall, this is a more practical and ready-to-use product. Experience the quality of Made in Japan.
