A special edition model that replicates Randy Rhoads's beloved guitar.

A special edition dedicated to Randy Rhoads, the genius guitarist who left his mark on the history of rock guitar with his angelic good looks and revolutionary technique.

Randy Rhoads, a young guitar prodigy whose beautiful phrasing rooted in classical music combined with a heavy sound, captivated even metal legend Ozzy Osbourne. He left behind only two albums before passing away at the young age of 25, but his guitar riffs continue to live on in the history of metal.

The pedal that was indispensable to Randy's guitar sound was none other than the "MXR Distortion+", which he loved throughout his life.

Randy's pedalboard, which was revealed for the first time in 42 years by his family, includes the Distortion+ he used during his active career, and fortunately, it ended up in the hands of our MXR development team.
MXR meticulously examined this historic pedal, successfully uncovering the secrets behind Randy's sound at the time. With the invaluable cooperation of Randy's sister, Cathy Rhodes, they succeeded in reviving this legendary pedal that has left its mark on rock and roll history.

Randy was inspired by the supersonic passenger jets he saw while touring with Ozzy Osbourne to design a Flying V-style guitar with a white finish and pinstripe accents.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.
