Description
This model was created by bringing together the technology of Negi Drums' hometown of Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, and featuring a Japanese-inspired design, making it possible for a manufacturer with its own factory in Japan.
A Japanese-inspired design is printed on the reverse side of the transparent eco-friendly PET material, taking advantage of its transparency. Because the design is printed on the reverse side of the material, it is hard to come off, and because it acts as a covering over the shell, it also serves to protect the shell.
Taking advantage of the advantages of transparent PET material, we have focused on the degree of "transmittance" that gives it a mirror-like shine, and the finish also incorporates a texture of shine that changes depending on the amount of light that hits the chrome, plating, steel, and shell.
Of course, the 1.2mm thick steel shell is thicker than conventional steel-shell snares, and the weight of the patterned cover adds to the shell's sense of mass relative to the sound. While the steel shell and tubular lugs provide an open sound, they also deliver a well-defined, solid sound.
