GODIN, a high-quality Canadian guitar brand, has gained immense popularity in Japan for its comfortable acoustic sound and excellent instrument designs based on original ideas. This particular model is a fretless version of the brand's bass guitars, which is in high demand and continues to be a long-selling model. It has the feel of an acoustic sound, but the playability is that of a typical electric bass, making it a unique and versatile model that excels in a variety of situations.

The body, featuring a unique double-chamber structure, boasts a spruce top (a familiar material for acoustic basses) and a maple back. It's constructed with a bolt-on maple neck and Richlite fingerboard. The rich, acoustically airy sound is incredibly pleasing, and its construction is highly resistant to feedback, a common problem with acoustic basses. Its warm tone will make a strong impression not only in jazz and blues, but also in vocal-based music. Furthermore, this instrument blends a humbucker magnetic pickup with an acoustic piezo pickup to create an even more immersive tone.

One of the appealing features of this bass is the freedom of playing position and the wide range of tonal nuances provided by the extended thumb rest positioned on the top of the body. ■ Innovative preamp that creates saturation effect: Equipped with a new preamp developed in collaboration with LR Baggs. In addition to the flexible mixing of each pickup and 3-band EQ, the saturation circuit adds a natural warmth to the harmonics, dramatically improving the realism of the sound.

■ Dual pickup system with piezo and magnetic pickups: A dual configuration featuring completely independent LRBaggs piezo pickups for each string and a custom magnetic pickup from Lace Sensor. This allows you to achieve a wide range of sounds, from acoustic to electric.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
