The DDJ-REV5 features large jog wheels and MAGVEL FADERs, adopting a layout familiar to open-format DJs worldwide. It enables STEMS functionality, the industry's first new AUTO BPM TRANSITION feature, and PIANO PLAY mode, and is compatible with both Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox, allowing for greater freedom in expressing DJ performances such as live mashups and remixes.

■Large-sized jog and MAGVEL FADER for dynamic scratching
It features the large jog wheel from the highly responsive, reliable, and easy-to-use "CDJ series," and the central display allows you to see the playback position at a glance.
Furthermore, the JOG FEEL system allows you to fine-tune the jog resistance to your preference, enabling you to play with optimal feel. In addition, the MAGVEL FADER responds to even the slightest movements, pushing your scratch performance to its limits.

■A layout ideal for performance, loved by open-format DJs worldwide. The layout follows that of the "PLX series" turntables and "DJM-S series" DJ mixers, which are highly regarded by open-format DJs around the world. The layout, with the TEMPO SLIDER positioned horizontally above the deck and the PERFORMANCE PADS and LEVER FX positioned near the fader, enables dynamic performances that fuse scratching with pad and effect playing.

■ Achieve creative performances with innovative live mashups using the dedicated STEMS button.
With the STEMS feature provided by Serato DJ Pro, you can instantly manipulate the four parts—VOCAL/MELODY/BASS/DRUMS (or VOCAL/INST/DRUMS in the case of rekordbox)—individually to create creative live mashups and remixes.

STEMS MUTE/SOLO
By muting/activating only the selected parts, you can achieve a wide range of expressions in your mashups.

STEMS SEPARATE
You can separate specific parts into different decks for scratching, or select a STEM track to separate it and apply effects only to that section.

STEMS LEVEL
You can assign the STEMS function to the EQ knob to adjust the volume of each part individually.

The parts separated by the STEMS function can be used in combination with the DECK MOVE function and DUAL DECK function.

■ New feature AUTO BPM TRANSITION enables song selection without being restricted by BPM.
The new AUTO BPM TRANSITION feature allows for seamless mixing of tracks from various genres with vastly different BPMs. Simply press the AUTO BPM TRANSITION START button, and the BPM of one deck will smoothly transition to the other deck's BPM after a pre-set number of measures. You can also set STEMS, AUTO LOOP, and KEY LOCK to be applied at the start of the transition, allowing you to create smooth transitions without a beat, or powerful transitions that combine loops. By freeing yourself from operating the TEMPO SLIDER, you can concentrate on more creative performances, such as manipulating effects or preparing the next track.

■ New PIANO PLAY mode allows for more musical and creative pad performance.
We've added a new PIANO PLAY mode to make PITCH PLAY even more creative. The 16 pads are designed to resemble piano keys, with white keys on the lower row and black keys on the upper row, creating a one-octave scale that can be placed on the PERFORMANCE PADS starting from the HOT CUE. With three different scale modes to switch between, even those without musical knowledge or piano skills can enjoy PITCH PLAY more easily.

■ Equipped with abundant inputs and outputs and two USB Type-C terminals for smooth DJ transitions. With a wide range of input and output terminals, including an XLR master output, suitable for professional settings, it's possible to build a truly versatile and professional system. Furthermore, it features two USB Type-C terminals for PC/Mac connection, allowing for easy DJ transitions simply by operating the switch on the unit.

■ Compatible with both Seraro DJ Pro and rekordbox, the standard open-format DJ software.
Because it supports both Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox, you can play with your preferred DJ software. Furthermore, simply connect this unit to a PC/Mac with the latest version of your DJ software installed, and you can start playing immediately.
