The XOTIC XJ-1T, renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and uncompromising sound quality, is now available in our custom-ordered model!

Founded in 1996, Xotic Guitars is a highly regarded brand based in the suburbs of Los Angeles. The sound crafted by their builders, who pour their skills into every instrument, boasts a quality that satisfies even professional musicians. This particular model is from the "XJ" series, which is assembled in Japan.

This guitar is a 5-string model with an ash body and maple fingerboard, in the style of a 70s JB. The ash body has weight, providing a crisp attack and a solid, punchy bass. The bright, crisp tone of the maple fingerboard is added on top of that, resulting in a clear and articulate sound.

The pickups are "Raw Vintage," meticulously hand-wired one by one by craftsmen in a workshop in Los Angeles, California. Based on a well-balanced, traditional sound, it is equipped with an original preamp that is highly regarded for its natural tone. It delivers a vintage-like midrange, and when slapping, it provides a moderate attack that is not too harsh. Combined with the heavier body, it makes thumbing very satisfying as the sound cuts through strongly and directly. Of course, two-finger playing is also comfortable, and it picks up the nuances of your touch well, and the well-defined, clear sound flexibly shapes the player's expression.

Furthermore, it features a frequency switch for middle (400Hz/800Hz) and treble (6KHz/12KHz), as well as a series/parallel switching control, allowing for a wide range of adjustments to suit different situations and band ensembles. It truly is an all-around versatile device.

This guitar features optional black parts, and the block inlays and binding were also custom-ordered in black. The natural wood and black two-tone color scheme is both warm and cool, resulting in a look that is both orthodox and yet possesses a strong individuality.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
