A used NG-3 5-string model in the reissued Ferrari Green color has arrived!

Dingwall has impressed first-call bassist Lee Sklar, who has participated in recordings and live performances with numerous famous artists, and has earned high praise from discerning bassists around the world for its distinctive FANNED-FRET SYSTEM, body balance, and pickup placement.

The simple combination of an alder body and maple neck produces an open resonance, while Dingwall's characteristic pickup configuration switching allows for a wide range of tonal shaping, from crisp, solid sounds to thick, powerful, and punchy tones. Combined with a Darkglass preamp, the sound is thick and resonant, with a tight, solid midrange that leaves a strong impression.
Furthermore, like the Z, the NG-3 allows for a wide range of sound shaping options, including front only, front and rear, center and rear, and rear only.

The scale length starts at 37 inches for the 5th string, and the 1st string is 34 inches, the same as a standard long scale, employing a FANNED-FRET SYSTEM. This ensures well-balanced tension and a solid tone across all strings, and the tight vibration of the low B string provides a well-defined sound, which is a major appeal of this instrument.

At first glance, the FANNED-FRET SYSTEM may still seem unfamiliar to many, but it is designed to follow the natural movement of the human arm, such as keeping the arm close to the side. As a result, when you play without consciously thinking about the angle, it becomes surprisingly easy to play, and the body balance makes you forget that it has an extra-long 37-inch scale.

There are a few dents on the back of the neck and the back of the body, but there are no noticeable paint chips, and the neck and truss rod are functioning perfectly!
