Descripción
The latest signature model from Hadrien Feraud, the top French bassist hailed as the reincarnation of Jaco Pastorius, the Aged Yellow, has arrived at our store for the first time! This is his first lacquer finish and relic treatment!

Since its founding in 1982, MAYONES has enjoyed immense popularity not only in Europe and the United States but also domestically, thanks to its unique lineup and unwavering quality. Its user list includes a stellar array of top players, such as Hadrien Feraud, Mohini Dey (who was also selected as a tour member for B'z), Nathan Navarro, and Federico Malaman.

The Jabba is based on the JB type, but with a 24-fret design that takes into account balance and playability. The Hadrien Feraud signature model further refines the control placement and neck shape to suit his diverse playing style.

This "Aged Yellow" color features a maple top, swamp ash back, a TWE-treated maple neck, and a TWE birdseye maple fingerboard with a striking grain pattern. TWE (Tonally Enhanced Wood), like thermo-curing or roasting, improves the resonance, stability, and attack of the wood.
Furthermore, by applying a lacquer finish and then aging the instrument, it produces a smooth, mellow tone that blends naturally into ensembles, even though it's a brand-new instrument.

The Adrian model features an 18mm string spacing, a neck that is 1mm thinner at the first fret than a standard Jabba, and a narrower neck width around the 12th fret, resulting in exceptional playability for phrasing that dances across the fretboard from the low to high positions, just like Adrian himself. The finger ramp positioned between the pickups has become so iconic that it can now be called his signature feature, and many bass players have installed it on their own instruments.

The built-in Mayones original preamp can be switched between active and passive modes using the push/pull master volume control, allowing for fine-tuning depending on the genre and song. Furthermore, like the latest Jabba models, this unit's preamp can be switched between a 9V battery and a rechargeable battery, and it also features a headphone jack and AUX input, so you can easily practice in hotels while on tour without needing any other equipment.

In 2006, at the young age of 22, he participated in John McLaughlin's album, and the following year, 2007, he released his own solo album and even held an event sponsored by Ikebe Musical Instruments. Since then, he has worked with many artists and participated in projects such as Hiromi Uehara's, making him a highly sought-after musician worldwide.
