The YOSHIKI signature snare drum, which combines all of these features, is finally complete.


A signature snare drum for YOSHIKI, drummer of the legendary rock band X JAPAN, which performs worldwide, is now available! Based on the "KSS146 Spartan" snare drum, one of the models in the TAMA Warlord Collection snare drum series released in 2007, this is YOSHIKI's signature model. Under the principle of wanting to use a silver-finished metal snare drum befitting his iconic "crystal drum set," YOSHIKI has been using this KSS146 model since around the 2010 North American tour. This newly released signature model shares the same basic specifications as the Spartan, maintaining the aggressive and impactful sound that won't get lost even in a loud band sound, while boasting a dazzling appearance befitting YOSHIKI's image. In addition, an inside sticker with YOSHIKI's handwritten signature is included on the inside of the shell.


● Aggressive sound - 1.0mm thick stainless steel shell with RSE (Resonant Sound Edge)
This snare drum features a stainless steel shell, which is more rigid than the steel commonly used in typical metal shell snare drums, and a TAMA original edge, RSE (Resonant Sound Edge), which is a modern adaptation of the double-flanged edge often seen on vintage snare drums. It is characterized by a sound that combines powerful volume and a sharp attack. The crisp sound projection when playing rim shots is also a major attraction.

What is RSE (Resonant Sound Edge)?
This original edge is a modern adaptation of the double-flanged edge used in vintage snare drums from the 1920s. By folding the edge inward and welding it to the inside of the shell, a space is created at the edge. By adopting this edge and increasing the shell rigidity, it retains the tight and solid sound of a metal shell while achieving a mellow and full resonance that is almost like that of a wood shell.

● Dazzling Look - Warlord Lugs & Emblem with Swarovski Crystals This signature snare drum features TAMA's original Warlord lugs and emblem, incorporating crystals from Swarovski, a company internationally renowned for its unique manufacturing and cutting techniques. Clear crystals that emit a translucent sparkle are placed at the center, resulting in a striking design with a clear outline based on straight lines.

What is Swarovski crystal?
Swarovski is a leading Austrian crystal glass manufacturer founded in Austria in 1895. Swarovski crystal glass is famous for its unique brilliance, which is produced by its high lead oxide content. Historically, it was used in chandeliers at the Palace of Versailles and opera houses, and in recent years, it has been widely used in accessories such as rhinestones, beads, pendant tops, and buttons, and is considered the world's finest crystal glass.

● Exclusive Emblem - YOSHIKI X JAPAN Plate This snare drum features a special emblem plate on the outside of the shell, adorned with a Warlord emblem set with Swarovski crystals, the X JAPAN logo, and YOSHIKI's signature. Additionally, an inside sticker signed by YOSHIKI himself is affixed to the inside of the shell as proof of its signature model status.

Items with “USED” in the product name are pre-owned and will be delivered as shown in the photos. Signs of wear may be present. All items are function-tested by our staff and rechecked before dispatch.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.
