A hybrid of USA Custom and Broadcaster specifications and technology in one unit! A used Gretsch Ridgeland snare drum is now in stock! It's in excellent condition!

-Ridgeland Snare Drum-

Going back about 40 years (1985-86), Gretsch Drums has had a factory in what is now Ridgeland, South Carolina, where skilled craftsmen handcraft the traditional USA Custom Series. In 2014, the company released the BROADKASTER Series, which featured a revival of the 3-ply shell, embodying the company's catchphrase, "That Great Gretsch Sound!"
In 2022, a new snare drum named after the Ridgeland factory, the "USA Custom Ridgeland Snare Drums," will be released, a hybrid model that combines the specifications and technology of USA Custom and BROADKASTER in one unit.

It features a 10-ply shell made from a combination of maple, gum, and poplar, which is thicker than the USA Custom Series, and a hybrid bearing edge that combines the traditional Gretsch 30° edge used in the USA Custom Series with an old-school BROADKASTER-style roundover edge.
The result is a warm, full-bodied tone with a strong attack. The hardware is the same as the USA Custom, featuring a diecast hoop, Lightning Throwoff, and 20 snare wires.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
