The Ergonomic Headless Bass is an EHB short-scale 5-string model with a grained top that's perfect for your living room or desk.

This bass combines portability, the greatest advantage of the headless style, with ease of playability. And above all, it's designed with ingenuity in bass sound. Traditionally, headless basses have often been described as "no sound" or "difficult to use," but the Ibanez Bass Workshop has reexamined them and created the all-new EHB headless bass. It's not a copy of other headless models, nor is it simply a headless version of an existing design or shape. The EHB, a new Ibanez bass, is born.

■The EHB body design horn is ergonomically designed to fit the player in perfect balance whether playing standing or sitting, and its shape makes it easy to hold and balances the body and neck when playing standing up.The body curve on the treble string side has been designed with particular emphasis on fit and balance when playing seated.
The body surface has been contoured to create a slope where the elbows come into contact, and all body edges that come into contact with the body have been given a smooth R.
The underside of the body is boldly cut out to become thinner towards the bass strings, a design that improves the fit when playing while seated and also takes into consideration the angle at which the fingerboard inlays are viewed.
Additionally, to make it easier to access the high frets, the back of the horn on the treble string side has been cut to create a scooped shape.

■A 30-inch short-scale model that is even more compact, yet doesn't sacrifice bass sound.

■The body curves are designed for comfort when playing, and the chambered hollow body allows the player to feel the resonance of the body more intuitively.By experiencing the vibrations inside the body directly, the player will be able to better recognize the sound they are producing.
It also contributes to a slight weight reduction.

■Panga Panga/Walnut 9-piece neck with graphite reinforcement rods. Both are made of hard wood, making it easy to obtain a clear sound image and producing a crisp sound.

Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ with EQ Bypass Switch (Powered by 006P 9V Alkaline Battery)
As the abbreviation for Variable frequency control for Mid EQ suggests, this is an EQ that provides flexible control of the Mids.
Typically, a 3-band EQ divides the band into three, such as HIGH/MID/LOW, and controls the boost or cut to focus on the frequency range specified by the developer. However, with the Vari-Mid, the user can freely adjust the Mid focus.
For example, by setting the Mid to 100Hz, which is roughly the bass range, and boosting it, you can compensate for a lack of bass.

■MR5HS Monorail Bridge / This is an original headless bridge designed specifically for EHB.
Tuning is achieved by turning the bridge end. This is a weakness of other manufacturers' products, as it can be stiff to turn, but our unique design and the use of Teflon washers make it easier to turn.
The saddle can be moved 1.5 mm left and right, allowing the space between the strings (string pitch) to be set as desired within the movable range.
You can make detailed settings to suit your playing style.

■Schaller S-Locks strap pin / Neutrik locking jack The Schaller S-Locks strap pin allows you to attach and detach the strap with just one touch.
It also features Neutrik locking jacks that securely lock the plug in place, providing a stable playing environment.

■Finger lamp included The finger lamp helps to ensure stable form in any position and improves playability.
The EHB series comes with a matte black wooden board that can be used as a finger lamp.
It has a special shape that matches the number of strings and scale of each model in the EHB series.

*Please note: The included finger lamps have double-sided tape already attached to the back, and are designed to be attached to the body using the double-sided tape. When removing the attached finger lamps, the paint on the body surface may be damaged. Please be careful.
The attachment and removal of the finger lamp is at the customer's own risk.
