A beautiful pre-owned Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Stratocaster featuring a scalloped fingerboard, brass nut, and large headstock!

This guitar is based on a Stratocaster from the era of laminated maple fingerboard necks, and has been customized specifically for Yngwie Malmsteen!
The alder body is hand-selected by expert wood selection staff exclusively for Fender Custom Shop products. The pickguard is a three-ply eggshell guard with 11 fasteners. The neck, like the body, is made of plain maple cut to a flattened grain. The rounded maple fingerboard features a slightly flatter 9.5R radius, a brass nut, a single-string guide with spacers, and super jumbo frets. The distinctive scalloped fingerboard, with its deep enough cut and jumbo frets, excels in shred and legato playing.
The body finish is a WLS (used on Eric Clapton models, etc.) undercoat with a lacquer finish. The neck finish is a urethane base, with only the headstock lacquered. A decal is hidden under the finish, featuring Yngwie's signature logo.
The neck grip has a slim "C" shape similar to that of the early '60s. Compared to the '60s Oval C, it has a slimmer grip all the way to the high positions. The neck has a modern design with little change in thickness from the low to high positions.
The hardware includes a synchronized tremolo with PAT.PEND. engraved saddles, and the machine heads are equipped with vintage-type F-key pegs.
Even among Fender guitars, which are characterized by their clear, natural sound thanks to their bolt-on construction, the sound of the Custom Shop guitars is second to none, with a sense of airiness and depth of sound that is on another level when output from an amplifier.Their overwhelming natural sound is so comfortable that you can play it forever even without outputting it through an amplifier, and the quality of the guitars is something you can only experience from a Custom Shop guitar.

The pickups that deliver this incredible tone are custom Seymour Duncan YJM Fury single-coil pickups, offering a balanced dynamic response and articulation. Controls include a 5-way lever switch for the pickup selector and vintage wiring. While the bridge pickup is tone-bypassed, the neck/middle pickup and bridge pickups feature different characteristics, resulting in a well-balanced sound in both volume and tone. Clean pickups offer a rich yet sparkling sound, while heavy distortion produces a crisp, drive sound. While reminiscent of the large-head era '69 pickups, they offer a more demanding tone.
Neoclassical!!

No one has modified the Stratocaster's fretboard quite like Yngwie J. Malmsteen, pioneering his own genre of neo-classical shred. The Fender brand co-designed this guitar with Malmsteen, constantly refining the design until he was completely satisfied with the instrument, including special pickups and a distinctive scalloped fretboard. This is the kind of craftsmanship only our Custom Shop can provide. The original Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Stratocaster, released in 1988, was one of Fender's first official signature models. We're proud to permanently add this Custom Shop model to our Custom Artist Collection.

*As for the condition, there are no dents or other damage to the frets, and about 80% of them remain, and there is also sufficient clearance for the truss rod.
The electrical system is also in good condition, and it is a relatively clean used item with only a few shallow scratches on the pickguard and overall, and some cloudiness on the metal parts.

*Please refer to the photos for any particularly noticeable scratches.
