FAQ

Descripción

Since its introduction in 1958, the ES-335TD has reigned as a semi-acoustic guitar representative, not just for Gibson, but for a wide range of applications.

This time we have a rare ``ES-335 Dot'' produced around 1982, with a special edition ``Custom Shop Edition logo/beige label.''

【body】
The overall weight is approximately 3.7 kg. The body is made of maple, and features the familiar semi-hollow construction with a center block and a width of approximately 16 inches. Its beautiful cherry sunburst color gradation with a strong reddish hue is captivating. There are signs of wear such as dents and scratches, and some tarnish on the metal parts, but considering its age, it is in relatively good condition. The beige label inside the body has dried out and peeled off, but remains in good condition.

【neck】
The neck is made of three pieces of mahogany. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. There are some small dents, mainly on the back of the neck, but like the body, it is in relatively good condition. Below the serial number, you can see the "SEC" markings from when it was new, which will appeal to collectors. The tuners for the 1st, 3rd, and 6th strings are slightly bent, but they still function properly. The frets and nut are only slightly worn, and playability is good. The nut width is 42.5mm. The neck shape is wide and has no quirks.

[Electrical system]
The controls are standard: 3-way pickup selector, 2 volume controls, and 2 tone controls. The pickups are two "New PAF" humbuckers with "Pat. Appl. For" stickers on the pickup rings. The pickups and other controls are in perfect condition, just as they were when they were first made. The guitar boasts a warm, natural tone and a clear, engaging bridge position.
