American Ultra II guitars and basses feature premium materials, meticulous craftsmanship and cutting-edge design. The American Ultra II Jazz Bass V features a select alder body with a deep body contour. The quarter-sawn maple neck features a Modern D-shaped profile and a comfortable Ultra Satin finish on the back of the neck. The ebony or quarter-sawn maple fingerboard with a 10-14 inch compound radius features Ultra Rolled edges, medium jumbo frets, luminous Luminlay side dots, and a Graph Tech TUSQ nut. The tapered neck heel and deep body contour allow easy access to the upper register, and the head-adjust truss rod allows for quick neck adjustments.
The American Ultra II Jazz Bass V features Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Jazz Bass pickups, delivering a wide range of exquisite, hum-free tones, from warm, vintage-infused tones to crisp, modern ones. The patented S-1 switch allows you to switch between active and passive pickup modes, providing a passive tone control or an active three-band EQ for adjusting the midrange frequency range. Practical features include an adjustable HiMass top-load/string-through-body bridge, Fender lightweight tuning machines with tapered shafts, knurled aluminum knobs, and a 1-ply anodized pickguard.
