FAQ

Description
This rare item, also featured on the Fodera official website, has arrived in excellent, almost brand-new condition!

Fodera's musical tone, which sparks the artist's imagination, and its absolute presence have captivated countless world-class bass players, who possess both exceptional playing technique and expressive sensibilities. The allure of their instruments speaks for itself; listening to the magnificent performances recorded by these musicians speaks for itself.

This instrument is a signature model of legendary bassist Anthony Jackson, who has contributed his sound to countless classic albums. Initially starting with a double-cutaway shape, Anthony Jackson Contrabass Guitar production evolved through various improvements to the current single-cut design, and has since been refined into the distinctive single-cut body design of the Imperial, which can be called the foundation of today's high-end basses.

The body top is made of magnificent buckeye burl, and the back is constructed from an alder body with a korina tone block. The 35-inch 5-piece neck and Macassar ebony fingerboard, which provides a wide range of tones up to the 28th fret, boast excellent neck rigidity, making it a guitar that can produce a full sound from low B to high C.
Although it may differ from the image it gives, thanks to Fodera's undeniable quality, it delivers a solid, compressed sound even when slapping, making it a perfect match for funk and black music.

There is a very small scratch near the 2nd fret on the bass string side of the fretboard, likely caused by catching on a stand, but there are no other noticeable issues. Before sale, the guitar underwent a complete adjustment at Sleek Elite, a certified repair shop recognized as an official Fodera repair center in Japan, and is in excellent condition for use.
