This instrument is a signature model of Adam "Nolly" Getgood, the former bassist of Periphery, a pioneer of the Djent style who gained attention for his technical yet loud basslines despite his low tuning. With his distinctive style evident in every detail, this instrument possesses a unique sound distinct from other DINGWALL models, and has gained popularity in Japan that transcends the typical artist model category.

This guitar features an alder body, a three-piece maple neck, a maple fingerboard, and Dingwall's original FD3 pickups mounted towards the bridge. Notably, while the standard model uses an EMG/BT circuit, this model employs the much-talked-about Darkglass custom 3-band EQ, delivering a rich, lustrous yet powerful bass tone that differs from the transparent Glockenspiel-style preamp, complementing the resonance of the fanned frets. The three-pickup configuration, like the higher-end Z series, allows for a wide range of sound shaping, including front only, front & rear, center & rear, and rear only. The carbon-fiber-like pattern on the pickguard is another attractive feature. The hardware, which contributes to the overall product quality, is meticulously crafted, incorporating specifications and design that leave no stone unturned for the player.

Like the higher-end Afterburner and ABZ models, the FANNED-FRET SYSTEM, with its longest Lo-B string set at 37 inches and the G string at 34 inches (similar to a typical long scale), aims for a more uniform sound at each position by setting each string to its optimal scale. You'll notice the benefits in creating a clearer bass tone and smoother pitch. Furthermore, the optimally balanced tension for each string makes playing with both hands smoother, and once you get used to the fingering, especially when sliding, it becomes an indispensable feature.
