Description

[Outlet Special Price] A highly cost-effective active JB-style pickup has been renewed and is now available! This model features a single humbucker pickup, inspired by the MM type!

The "Metro Express series," which took the world by storm with its high cost performance as the entry model for the new Sadowsky, has been renewed with the long-awaited Sadowsky logo on the headstock. Not only has the logo been changed, but it also aims for even greater heights with a roasted neck, changed parts, and updated pickups. The neck features a narrow nut width and slim round grip, a 21-fret specification with a maple/morado fingerboard, a small dinky-shaped body, and a wide-range active circuit, so it inherits the strong Sadowsky characteristics while achieving amazing cost performance.

The body is made of okoume wood, which Roger himself prototyped in NYC and received high praise for. It achieves an astonishing lightness and excellent balance comparable to higher-end models. The pickups are humbucker-style, reproducing a clear and attacking sound. Hardware such as the tuners and bridge are the same type as those used in higher-end models, and the preamp (passive switchable), which is the heart of the guitar, is exactly the same as that used in the higher-end German-made models, reproducing the wide-range and familiar "NY sound".

This combination delivers Sadowsky's signature clear and tight active sound, while the single humbucker's attack allows for both groovy and funky playing. Furthermore, it boasts surprising power for its class, yet maintains a stable tone and soundstage, showcasing the brand's exquisite balance. The clean, nostalgic 2-band EQ design, devoid of passive roll-off tone, also highlights the straightforward appeal of this brand's basses.

While incorporating some simplifications, this high-cost-performance model inherits the look and sound of the NYC/German models. It's recommended not only as an entry point to the original models, but also as a step up to the mid-range. Please try the Metro Express, which has the potential to become a new worldwide standard.
