Description
A used 1980s Guild D-55NT has arrived! Experience a level of excitement you've never felt before.

The legendary D-55 model, which first appeared on the market as a custom-made model in 1968 and became part of the regular line in 1976, gained popularity in the 1960s when it was used by Tommy Smothers of the Smothers Brothers Show, and has remained a globally famous and popular model for decades, used by artists such as Waylon Jennings, Billie Joe Armstrong, and David Nail. It boasts specifications comparable to the 1968 custom-made model, including an AA Sitka spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Furthermore, it features Adirondack bracing and an improved dovetail neck joint, resulting in a lighter weight, richer sound, and superior playability. In addition to the "Peak and Shield" headstock inlay, a mark of Guild's flagship models, it also features an abalone V-block fingerboard inlay and a center-seam neck, giving it a gorgeous and elegant look befitting a flagship model. The new Guild D-55, the most anticipated new model to date, was created with the intention of providing even greater excitement to long-time Guild fans.
Regarding the condition of this particular instrument, there are some minor scratches and dents throughout, but no noticeable dents or damage. The neck has been reset and leveled before arrival, and it is in player's condition.
The string height is low, and there is a slight buzzing on the 1st string when picking hard, but otherwise there are no problems at the moment.
